Dive Shorts

Shark Bay Films

The ever-changing environment

Shark Bay Films was founded by John Boyle – acknowledged as one of the most experienced underwater film makers in the world.  With several international awards under their belt, the team documents stories from the macro life of the Lembeh Strait, to the historical tragedies of Truk Lagoon.  There’s real human interest in their work too, documenting the relationship between man and whale shark in Indonesia.

At the Underwater Film Festival, John will introduce his collection, Dive Shorts  showing some of the most intimate and the most awe-inspiring experiences from the courtship behaviour of the largest fish in the British Isles, the Basking Shark to previously unseen footage from the first 4K movie to be shot in Truk Lagoon, soon to have worldwide release.  This is guaranteed to make you start planning your next adventure…
